Dwellings Trinidad Opens Flagship Store in Chaguanas!

wellings Trinidad has chosen to
open its flagship store in this coun-
try in our Central town of Chagua-
nas. Many have been attracted by the sign
which is visible from the Butler highway
and the curiosity and interest were high as
guests turned out for the special customer
evening on Saturday May 6, 2017 at their
store in Heartland Plaza, Chaguanas.
The Dwellings Group may be new to
Trinidad but has a reputation as a leading
multi-brand lifestyle retailer of contempo-
rary home furnishings, housewares, and
more.
Luis Carrillo, Managing Director, was
joined by his wife and business partner
Gael Alluard to introduce the Dwellings
Group. In his brief address to a lively and
appreciative gathering he said, “Dwellings
is a lifestyle store designed to generate
passion for your home. Through our
unique product assortment, displayed with
you the customer in mind and served up
with world class customer service, we aim
to deliver a customer experience that is
sure to keep you coming back again and
again.”
With a backdrop of fashionable fur-
nishings for the savvy shopper, Carillo
said, “We are extremely excited to be
opening up in Chaguanas, Trinidad and to
welcome Trinidadians to enjoy our latest
flagship store.
The initial reaction has been very en-
couraging as we welcome customers from
all over the country and in particular the
greater Chaguanas area, one of the fastest
growing regions in Trinidad. We look for-

He went on to thank the many people
involved in making the project a success
including Amera Caribbean, Firstline Se-
curities, International Shipping, contractor
Ricky Khan as well as the Barbados and
Trinidad teams. A ceremonial ribbon cut-
ting followed with Mr. Anthony Rahael,
Group CEO of Rahael Holdings Limited,
owners of Heartland Plaza, officially open-
ing Dwellings Trinidad. Guests were
treated to live and interactive cooking
demonstrations by Chefs Jason Peru and
Ridge Juman from Fanatic Kitchen Studio,
with drinks served by The Naughty Grape.
A special incentive of 10% off storewide
was offered to all guests. Dwellings oper-
ates through its Dwellings Home,
Dwellings Design Studio and Liliplum
Kids brands and is headquartered in Barba-
dos. The company opened in 2006 and has
