Upon arrival, one was whisked up to the lobby on the 39th loor to be greeted by exceptionally warm and friendly reception staff. The views from the lobby were awe-inspiring, offering panoramic views of the Petronis Towers and vistas as far as the eye can see.
The high lobby is as a result of there being an office tower situated below the hotel.
The bedrooms were beautifully appointed, with lots of marble. Floor to ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the city. The best outlook one could ever have from a rain shower. The bedroom lighting system proved to be a challenge for all, which was finally mastered on the last day before checkout.
Breakfast was simply sensational. It catered for all tastes and requirements,
ranging from Middle Eastern and Asian through to Western offerings. You could easily have had something different every day of the week.
The meeting room and breakout areas were fantastic, not to mention the wonderful food served at morning tea. Unfortunately I was not game enough to sample the chicken curry at 10.00am in the morning.
The Grand Hyatt Hotel was a welcome oasis from the hussle and bussle of market shopping in KL.
