One year ago , God gave the workers at the OMS-related Peña de Horeb camp a vision to host OMS camps for kids . Recruiting church partners to help plan and run the camps was essential . Now , a year later , two churches executed two separate VBS sports camps . Both camps were a huge success . The Lord provided , and we are seeing God work in Spain .
Hungary
This year , our Hungary field initiated a partnership with Asbury University . Aspiring teachers from Asbury served at our Letenye English Camp , teaching English and sharing the Gospel . This collaboration provided the profound impact of cross-cultural missions and an enriching , life-changing experience for all involved . It also opened the door to future opportunities for Asbury student teachers and interns in Hungary .
Mozambique
An African proverb says , “ If you want to change an individual , invest in a man , but if you want to change a community , invest in a woman .” This year , the Lord brought more than 30 women to study the Word of God for the first time . OMS Mozambique missionaries Paulo and Fernanda Almeida believe God will do infinitely more through each of these women than we can imagine !
South Korea
The annual Wesleyan Holiness Summer Seminar was held at Seoul Theological University
( STU ) from June 17-28 . Seven seminary and church leaders from five Asian and African countries , as well as Korean students from STU , participated . We pray for these participants as they implement what they learned .
