Diversifies your workouts : There are so many types of group fitness classes available these days . There are strength training , yoga , cardio , step , boot camp , and dance classes just to name a few . Taking different kinds of classes will keep you from getting bored or burned out with your workouts . Taking a variety of classes can also enhance your fitness level and make you more balanced .
The bottom line is that most people who work out with others enjoy exercising more than those who sweat it out alone . There is support and accountability in being part of a team . There is a bond that is created when a group struggles , sweats , fights , and grinds their way through a tough workout .
As an instructor , I love seeing my class members become friends and support each other in class . After ten long months of not teaching , I am thrilled to say I am back teaching at the AdventHealth Wellness Center Celebration ! Nothing compares to working out with a group , and my hope is that 2021 will result in more and more people feeling safe and comfortable returning to group fitness classes .
