NHS @ 75
It ’ s coming up to 2 years since I was invited to join Keele university ’ s Link Group . Prior to this I had been involved in many research projects but often wondered ‘ what happens next ?’ For me patient and public involvement in the implementation of research to clinical practice is a necessity ; after all it ’ s the patient and public who are going to use and benefit from the research at ground level . I thoroughly enjoy being part of the team carrying out this work and feel valued and appreciated . My ideas and suggestions are readily accepted and are often used . I love sharing Keele university ’ s successes within my networks and with family and friends . We all then benefit .
