I first found out about Keele and what they did when I was Chairperson of Stafford Branch of Arthritis Care . I came along to a meeting and it made me want to get involved , plus living with Arthritis since my early 20 ' s I thought I might be able to help in some small way . I have been involved in research studies , and I am still a co-applicant on studies .
You help researchers look at what they are doing from a lay persons perspective right up to the outcome at the end . Public Involvement with any study is important making sure the lay summary is in plain English for Public Members to understand .
I have been to London and spoke on behalf of Keele , this is something I will always remember .
Plus having Support from Adele and Anna which I cannot thank them enough for .
