Why I ’ ve enjoyed being involved in health research projects .
Most importantly I have felt that my input has been recognised and valued . That has come from the ability to bring the health experiences I ’ ve had to the research community , not only as a patient with Osteoarthritis but also as one with a number of other health issues .
I ’ ve also enjoyed being able to use my other life experiences from working in Quality and Process Improvement and even as a white van man ( liaising between pharmacies , surgeries and patients ) to benefit the health research community .
