Faithful Through Generations
The past two years has been especially full. For months, we planned, prepared, researched, and wrote in anticipation of the June 2026 celebration. But this work was about far more than a single event. As we uncovered old photographs, verified dates, and rediscovered long-forgotten stories for the 125 th anniversary coffee table book, historical videos, timeline banners, and more, God continually impressed upon me the importance of remembering— remembering what he has done.
I was reminded of Joshua 4 and the stones of remembrance:“ So these stones shall be to the people of Israel a memorial forever.” Like those stones, our work of telling and retelling his stories serves as a testimony, pointing beyond us to God’ s enduring faithfulness.
Reflecting on 125 years of One Mission Society history has been humbling, stretching, and at times, daunting. Yet it has also been profoundly impactful. It has deepened my awe of God’ s goodness and reinforced the truth of Psalm 119:90 that declares,“ Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.”
We hope you enjoy this issue, recapping the 125 th celebration and God’ s faithfulness.
