A Midnight in Venice
The stars shine with compassion.
As they look down admiring the two lovers affection.

They appear to be in a romantic session,
that was startled by a deep depression.
The cool breeze withers through the threads of her hair,
Making it clear that they aren’t the only ones there.
With a mind full of pain and a heart filled with fear,
She blinks her eyes repeatedly dropping a single tear.
Under the stars and the stars they swear that they would forever
be near.
So for the time being they look in each other’s eyes and stare.
The moon has a fiery color that slightly brightens the air.
However it stares with strain as if this is to much to bare.
Just so that it’s clear, this is the depth of a teenage love that was
held so dear.
The last nights of their adventure where he would soon disappear.
The water catches the tears from both of the lover’s eyes.
This was the reason why the water in Venice began to rise.
This is a midnight in Venice to remember.
A love was broken by force in the cold of December.
