FREE TUITION FOR GRADUATES Dallas County Promise gives 60 hours of college credit to Class of 2018 students. T he Dallas County Promise program offers free tuition at any Dallas County Community College District school for 60 credit hours, or three years, to every student in the Class of 2018, regardless of income or grade point average. Additionally, students will be given a success coach to help them navigate college. Upon graduation from DCCCD, students may transfer to the University of North Texas at Dallas or Southern Methodist University. UNT Dallas will offer the cost of classes to all Dallas County Promise students. SMU will offer free tuition to students who meet income and grade requirements.  To enter the program, students must complete the online pledge form at dallascountypromise.org before Jan. 31, 2018, and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or the Texas Application for State Financial Aid and list DCCCD.  Cedar Hill High School and Cedar Hill Collegiate High School are two of 31 schools participating in the new program.  6
