President ’ s Message
Greetings ,
As we head towards the end of another academic year , I am proud to once again present some of the University ’ s exciting stories and achievements through our monthly newsletter . As you peruse this collection of news items , I believe you will notice how they reflect our commitment to our mission and vision at CDU .
You will read about visits from two local high schools to our campus . By exposing students from our surrounding communities to the possibilities of pursuing careers in health care , we are helping to bridge the gap in health care disparities and build a more diverse workforce .
The stories about school pride day and various events held on campus demonstrate our commitment to fostering a sense of community and collaboration . Our students , staff , and faculty alike all understand that meaningful change can only be achieved through working together and leveraging our collective strengths .
The research poster presentations recently made by our students showcase our commitment to producing the next generation of leaders and professionals who are equipped with the skills and knowledge to drive innovation in their fields . By supporting and sharing their research , we are preparing our students to tackle the complex challenges facing health care .
Our career fair demonstrated our commitment to preparing all Mighty Lions for success beyond graduation . Education is only one step in a lifelong journey of learning and growth , and we are dedicated to connecting our students with meaningful career opportunities and supporting them in their professional development .
The second annual naming of CDU ’ s Women of Distinction highlights our commitment to recognizing and celebrating excellence in health professions education . We are fortunate to have such accomplished individuals as part of our community , and their achievements inspire us all to strive for excellence in our own endeavors .
I am grateful to every member of the CDU community for their unwavering commitment to our mission and vision . Through our collective efforts , we are creating pathways to more equitable , innovative , and compassionate health care . I am honored to be a part of this incredible journey .
