He met with University leaders and CDU’ s Zambia grant team to discuss the Rise UP! project and CDU’ s initiatives in Lusaka and the Copperbelt.
As his role is to represent and support the Zambian diaspora residing in the U. S., this was a great opportunity to connect Kanyama with CDU as an option for study and collaboration.

Her Excellency Rachel Ruto, the First Lady of the Republic of Kenya, visited the CDU campus as part of the university’ s Diplomats on Global Health Disparities series, organized by CDU’ s Office of International Affairs.
Her Excellency Rachel Ruto’ s visit not only contributed to the dialogue on global health disparities but also provided a platform for cultural exchange and diplomatic engagement between Kenya and CDU.
Global Health Disparities Series Brings International Speakers to Campus
Eduard Espiritusanto, Congressman from the Dominican Republic, visited CDU with representatives from the Caribbean nation to participate and learn about global health issues.
The visit aimed to explore potential areas of cooperation and partnership with the CDU community.“ What attracted us to the university was your mission and vision of really being inclusive of all and that’ s what we want to bring and hopefully integrate as a country,” said Espiritusanto.
Father Innocent Rugaragu from Kigali, Rwanda also visited the CDU campus as part of the Office of International Affairs’ Global Impact Series.
Amidst the concerted efforts of Rwandans to heal and progress following the genocide, Father Innocent Rugaragu emerged as a vital figure in both the nation’ s emotional recovery and its academic advancement.
