Six-Year Blue Devil Snapshot
• Our fundraising and revenue generation efforts have resulted in record-setting numbers and unprecedented success in each of our core objectives. Central Connecticut’ s private gifts and corporate sponsorship has risen dramatically since 2010-11.
• The number of donors has nearly TRIPLED and is UP 295 %.
• Donations have risen by over $ 200,000 since 2010 and are UP by 74 %.
• Since the 2010 fiscal year, Corporate Sponsorship has RISEN by 84 %.
• Athletics set a RECORD in 2015-16 for Donors and total amount of Donations.
• During the 2016 Blue Devil Double Dare Challenge, Athletics donors contributed over $ 55,000 and accounted for nearly 48 % of the total number of donors.
• For the 4th consecutive year, Central Connecticut had programs recognized with an NCAA Public Recognition Award for scoring among the top 10 % in its sport with respect to the team APR score.
CHAMPIONS IN COMPETITION
• The Blue Devils have won 16 Northeast Conference titles since 2010-11, marking the most successful six-year span in CCSU athletics’ Division I history.
• Since 2010-11, CCSU’ s 16 Northeast Conference team championships is THIRD amongst the league’ s current membership.
• Central Connecticut’ s 5 championships during the 2014-15 year was the MOST among all Northeast Conference schools.
CHAMPIONS IN THE CLASSROOM
• CCSU student-athletes accumulated an average GPA of 3.10.
• The number of CCSU student-athletes on the Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll( 3.20 GPA or better) has risen from 129 in 2013-14 to 168 in 2015- 16. Furthermore, 28 Blue Devils earned a spot on the Commissioner’ s Honor Roll in 2015-16 after posting a GPA of 3.75 or better.
• 219( 50 %) Blue Devil student-athletes achieved at least a 3.0 GPA during 2015-16.
CHAMPIONS IN THE COMMUNITY
• CCSU student-athletes have performed close to 27,000 hours of community service.
