Specializing in private portfolio and asset management , he has been in commercial real estate for more than 18 years as an investor , broker , and portfolio adviser . Mark Cypert , CCIM , is a Partner in multiple private equity commercial real estate joint venture investments throughout the United States . During his career , he has participated in the exchange of 18.1 million sf of office , industrial and retail acquisition , and development ventures with a total market capitalization of $ 2.5 billion .
