2017 2017 Industry shines at the 2017 CCF Victoria Earth Awards CCF Victoria CEO John Kilgour addresses the audience at Myer’s Mural Hall. O n Friday 25th August, CCF Victoria held its annual Earth Awards Presentation Evening – celebrating excellence in civil construction. The 2017 CCF Victoria Earth Awards was held in the iconic art deco ballroom surrounds of Myer’s Mural Hall and was attended by 270 guests, stakeholders, contractors and associate members. CCF Earth Awards Master of Ceremonies Trevor Marmalade addressed the room and ent ertained throughout the course of the evening with his trademark sharp wit and humour that has made him a household name throughout the years. CCF thanks its Earth Awards Judges Maurice Stabb, Geoff Reynolds, Esther Warren and Guy Hodgkinson for their time and commitment towards reviewing submissions, visiting project sites, interviewing project teams and for judging all Awards Finalists. Their combined wealth of industry knowledge, experience and expertise was immensely valued throughout the competition period. Throughout the judging process, our Earth Awards judges reviewed a wide-ranging spectrum of project distinction, innovation and practicality throughout the three main competition judging criteria. These are construction excellence, environmental sustainability and project management. In 2017, CCF Victoria recognised the achievements of 13 finalists over six project categories.
