Contact Merilee Brister at [email protected] for further membership information. Our new season begins in March and continue through November. Membership dues are $30, payable in March each year. The 9-hole group will play on Mondays and Wednesdays. The 18-hole group will play on Wednesdays. For tee times and information, please contact Jackie Kuppersmith at [email protected] or Cindy Owens at [email protected]. For the 18-hole group, contact Gena Cauthen at [email protected]. For those who work during the week and are not always able to play with the 9 or 18-hole groups during the day, we will have additional play days at 6:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. For information and to join us, contact Janet Latone at [email protected]. 2014 TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE Ms. Betty Cup The second annual Ms Betty Cup will be played on April 9. It is a match play event comprised of two teams and played in honor of Betty Barker, a CLGA charter member. Rally for the Cure Our annual Rally for the Cure will be held on May 21. The Rally for the Cure is a grassroots program that works to spread awareness about breast health and breast cancer in support of Susan G. Komen. The event is open to any player, male or female, who wishes to support this very worthy cause. Create your own team and come out in support of our fight against breast cancer. More information will be in the next issue and a sign up sheet will be posted in the Pro Shop. Red, White & Blue We will host our ninth annual Red, White & Blue Tournament on June 12. In past years, the field has been comprised of teams represented over a dozen clubs in north George and South Carolina. We are looking forward to another fantastic, full field event this year. The format and more information will be in the next issue. Punkin Open This is a two-person member team event in which teams are paired by handicaps. This event gives all of our CLGA members, both 18 and 9-hole players, a chance to play together. We will have a day of fun, crazy golf and celebrate heartily. We will be playing on October 22. New Events We are working on a couple of new events for this year , including an individual match play tournament which will be played over weeks at the beginning of our season as well as a Moonlight Madness event open to anyone. The Moonlight Madness will be played with glow balls on a night with a good, full moon. More information on this event will be coming soon. CHICKS & CROWS We have some really fun times at our events where teams are created of our chicks and their crows.
