Kheng Jack currently works as a Senior Materials and Corrosion Engineer at Shell Energy and Chemical Park Singapore . In this role , he supports refinery distillation units in Shell , with a focus on risk-based inspection , materials / corrosion matters and failure investigation .
Vasanth Bhat , Singapore Refining Company ( SRC )
Vasanth Bhat is the Inspection & Reliability Manager at Singapore Refining Company , a joint venture between Chevon & Petro China . During his 14 years with SRC , his main role has been to support all technical and asset management issues with regard to rotating machinery and fixed equipment in the refinery . Prior to this , Mr Vashanth had over 19 years of experience in various roles as a consultant , sales , reliability and maintenance engineer in organisations in India , the Middle East and Singapore . Mr Vasanth has a BE degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology India and a Master ’ s in Rotating Machinery from the University of Zaragoza in Spain . He is a Category IV Vibration specialist certified by the Vibration Institute USA and API 510 , 570 , 571 , and 580 .
Kiran Korety , ExxonMobil
Kiran is the Principal Mechanical Integrity Engineer at ExxonMobil Chemical Operations , Singapore , with a 30-year career in the industry . His experience spans various roles within downstream refinery and chemical operations , where he has addressed and resolved challenging issues related to asset integrity . His efforts have ensured the reliability and safety of operations while significantly contributing to business value . Throughout his career , Kiran has been committed to developing the next generation of technical leaders , guiding , coaching , and mentoring numerous professionals . His passion for knowledge sharing and leadership development has been a cornerstone of his professional journey . Kiran has a Bachelor of Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology , Tiruchirappalli , India .
Gilbert Tan
Gilbert is the Lead Mechanical Integrity engineer at ExxonMobil Chemical Operations , Singapore , and has a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Singapore . He joined the oil & gas industry in 2013 , specialising in static equipment maintenance support , inspection , repairs and alterations . He is API510 and 570 qualified .
Lachlan Mathers , AWMA Water Control Solutions / ASSDA
Lachlan completed his engineering studies in 2019 , during which he gained valuable experience with a focus on heat treatment and LNG plant manufacture . Following graduation , he embarked on a journey with AWMA Water Control Solutions , spending his first year as a Technical Support Engineer and the last three years as Engineering Manager . AWMA designs and constructs its products in North Central Victoria , Australia , using predominantly an array of stainless steel grades for water control gates , screens , and flood protection products . Lahland ’ s key focus has been developing collaborations and integrations between the water and stainless steel industries . Lachlan is also Chair of the ASSDA Young Professional Network , aiming to provide numerous opportunities for young professionals within the stainless steel industry , ensuring its continuous growth and innovation .

Nakkeran Thiru is an accomplished Welding Engineer and Quality Professional with approximately 14 years of experience in the offshore structural platform and FPSO sector . Nakkeran has expertise in managing and executing complex projects for prestigious clients across the UK , Norway , and Singapore . His experience spans the entire spectrum of offshore structural and piping fabrication , with significant proficiency in working with corrosion resistant alloy ( CRA ) materials .
