HOW XR FLEXVOLT ® WORKS
INTELLIGENT DESIGN
XR FLEXVOLT ® batteries are 20V MAX * batteries that switch up to 60V MAX * when placed on a XR FLEXVOLT ® tool . They are fully compatible with the entire 20V MAX * XR range , including chargers .

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
Standard XR ® batteries have 5 x 3.6V ( 20V ) cells connecting in a series and either one or two strings in parallel , giving either an 20V 2Ah or an 20V 5Ah battery .
FLEXVOLT ® batteries are flexible . They connect in parallel for 20V MAX * tools and in a series for 60V MAX * tools . The result ? The right power for the tool - with increased runtime and consistent performance .
