is a doctoral student in voice at the University of Iowa , where he works as a teaching assistant in voice in addition to teaching voice at Coe College and Prairie High School . Danielle Hribar ( Ensemble ) Danielle is super excited to make her TCR debut in Carrie : The Musical ! Some of her favorite past shows include Anastasia ( Lily ) and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ( Veruca Salt ). Danielle would like to thank her family for encouraging her to do what she loves . She would also like to thank this cast and crew for making her first musical with TCR one to never forget !
Sage Johnson ( Ensemble ) Sage Johnson is a junior music therapy student at the University of Iowa and is delighted to be making her TCR debut ! She has been in numerous productions in the Des Moines area including Heathers ( Ensemble , DMYAT ) and The Sound of Music ( Liesl , Des Moines Playhouse ). Sage was most recently seen in the University of Iowa Theatre Department ' s production of Into the Woods ( Rapunzel ). She would like to thank TCR for being so welcoming !
Kayla Lansing-Green ( Helen ) Kayla is excited to be back with her TCR friends and family performing this spooky ( yet fantastic ) musical . She would like to say thank you to her husband and cats , as well as the cast , crew , and her wonderful TCR friends for supporting her and reminding her of the true magic of live theatre . This will truly be a “ bucket list ” show to remember . Enjoy the performance and remember , we scare because we care ( about giving you a kick-butt theatrical experience ).
Samuel Larson ( Stokes ) Sam is delighted to be in his second show here at TCR ! Credits include Waitress at TCR . Previously graduating from John F . Kennedy High School he spent his time in theatre and show choir . His most notable shows include Matilda ( Bruce ), Chicago ( Amos Hart ), The Lion King Jr . ( Adult Simba ), and Sweeney Todd ( Anthony Hope ). He ’ d like to thank his family and friends , but more specifically his older sibling ( Shay ) for being so supportive and encouraging . Ready for prom ?

In the past year , they ’ ve had the pleasure of being in a bunch of different shows , such as Rock of Ages , The Rocky Horror Show , Sondheim on Sondheim , and most recently Waitress . They ’ d like to thank their family and friends for always supporting them in their love for theatre . They ’ d additionally like to thank their brother , Sam , for doing another dream show with them and indulging in all of the car singing that comes with it .
