5 were phenomenal !! Roland , Tamas , my friend Kevin Murphy and I caught dozens of thirties between us and several forty plus pound carp as well . PB ’ s were broken , minds were blown , and big plans for 2015 were discussed over the winter ! Realizing the potential of the baits and our teamwork , Roland and Tamas began to formulate an idea . They talked it over with me , Tamas chose a name , and The Carp Maxx Team was born . Roland and I went to Tamas ’ home in March 2015 in the midst of a brutal Northeastern winter and made two hundred pounds of boilies together . Over the winter Tamas made some awesome pop-ups and wafters in different flavors , sizes , and colors for us to kick off our 2015 season . Spring came late , but our spring team session was one to remember . A slow start on our first location , but it ended well with a new all-time PB for me a massive 46 + pound mirror ! Tamas caught many 30 + pound fish the biggest being a 38 + pound beast of a common . That was only the beginning as the team saw many other milestones reached this past spring . Both Tamas and Kevin caught multiple thirties , and forties up to 43 + pounds for Tamas and a new all-time PB common fro Kevin at 42 + pounds . Josh Bergeron and Roland caught several thirties between them , and I caught a handful of thirties with a 38 + pound mirror to finish up our spring season , along with some great tournament results for the team as well . Summer 2015 was a very hectic time for me personally , but I managed a couple of thirties the biggest a 34 + common . Tamas and Kevin had a great summer , however , capturing well over a dozen thirties between them on various waters . With fall fast approaching a couple of trips between us up to Tamas ’ house to stockpile an arsenal of baiting boilies and hook baits were in order . October came and with greater confidence than ever , worked very hard alongside my teammates to try and achieve the best results possible . EPIC is the only word I can use to describe our team results , and my fall season was simply amazing . Capturing 21 thirties to 38 + pounds , a 40 + common and capturing the Holy Grail when I landed an absolutely goliath new PB 50 pound monster common !! 2015 was an awesome year for us , but we will be pushing ourselves to try and make 2016 even better !
