Jubilee!
“Fifty years,” observed principal Nancy Libby, “is a long time.”
Indeed, if a marriage, career, or vocation lasts for half a century, it’s an accomplishment
worthy of honor. So it is no small celebration when the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet
recognize their enduring commitment to the Church and to their order.
Every year, on St. Joseph’s Day, the Sisters unite to celebrate their feast day, when they renew
their vows and commemorate their jubilees—their anniversaries as women religious. When the
School assembled to celebrate St. Joseph’s Day with the Sisters
in March, the congregation especially recognized the fiftieth
jubilee of Sr. Joann Heinritz, CSJ.
