banquet about upcoming changes in the School's science program.

male voices? And the first airbags in
automobiles were tailored for adult
males, resulting in injuries to women
and children?
Since only 11% of U.S. engineers are
women, we don’t always get the best
design for all Americans. This highlights
the need for women to join this field.
Some of the best opportunities to be
creative, to be leaders, and to make a
difference will be open to those who
are comfortable using science and
technology.
