Golfers and volunteers alike enjoyed a fabulous day and beautiful weather at Diablo Country Club for the 24th Annual
Carondelet Golf Tournament in April. The course was full of entertaining activities—a marshmallow drive, putting
contest, longest drive, closest-to-the-hole contest, two hole-in-one contests for cars, bulls eye, black jack, hit the green, and
more. Course refreshments included a fabulous Morucci's boxed lunch as well as quesadillas and margaritas on the first
tee, Kinder's sausage and shots of Tennessee Honey Jack Daniels on the seventh tee, a hosted beverage cart, and ice cream.
After all the on-course fun, players enjoyed a two-hour premium hosted bar in the clubhouse and a delicious dinner with
fun awards and prizes. It was a "win-win situation," since the Swing for Science Golf Tournament benefitted the STEM
program (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math education) at Carondelet. If you missed out this year, don't miss it
next year. The Carondelet Golf Tournament will be on Monday, April 27, 2015.
