The Porsche Taycan, the company’s first all-electric vehicle is set to make its official debut next year. However, the company has already revealed a number of interesting facts about this upcoming electric supercar.
The Taycan features upgrades in high-performance including an acceleration of 0-97 km/h of just 3.5 seconds, top speed that exceeds 250 km/h on the road and 500 kilometres range per single charge. Its architecture is adopted
from Porsche’s new vehicle architecture known as J1 with cutting edge tech. Its features also includes 800V charging which achieves an 80% battery state in just 15 minutes. Though the interior indicates a four-seating layout, it is believed that the vehicle will be slightly larger than a 911, but smaller than a Panamera.
Though according to Porsche Managing Director Alexander Pollich the new Porsche Taycan is receiving many positive feedback all around the automotive world, and aims start production at their Zuffenhausen plant, Project manager David Thor Trygvason explains that the entire production line and the facility where they intend to produce the Taycan, will need to be paused to satisfy the particular requirements of the Taycan. Because of its innovative new electric technology, Porsche may have to change its manufacturing line, which could lead to production delays.

Bugatti Chiron to Get New Sky View Glass Roof Option
One of the world’s fastest and most expensive production cars gets a new aesthetic upgrade. The new feature received two Sky View glass panels, on top of the driver and the passenger. The $2.5 million Bugatti Chiron is set to reveal its latest upgrades during the Monterey Car Week this August, in Pebble Beach, California.
The two new Sky View glass panels are 25.6 inches long and 17.3 inches wide, and features a new laminated structure with four layers of thin glass seen above the driver and passenger seats.
According to the luxury carmaker, these latest upgrades aims to reduce both wind and road noise while also redirecting infrared radiation away from the car to provide the vehicle and its passenger’s maximum thermal comfort. When compares to a Chiron with a standard roof, the Chiron "Sky View" adds an additional 1.06 inches of headroom.
Though The Company is yet to reveal price for its latest feature to the luxury car, it's ready to order today. Buyers are able to see the vehicle in person at Pebble Beach from August 18-26.
