Last of world’s 50 Bentley Mulsanne Hallmarks now in Sri Lanka
The Mulsanne Hallmark Series by Mulliner is a limited production series of just 50 handcrafted cars, making each one as rare and sought-after as the elements that inspired its creation. Mulliner has long been responsible for some of the company’s most exquisite cars. Today, Bentley’s personal commissioning division has delivered the highest level of personalisation. The craftsmanship of Mulliner’s specialists represents the pinnacle of Bentley luxury.
The last of this extremely rare sedan series is said to have touched down in Sri Lanka on the 14th of February 2018 via air freight, and is the first in the South and Southeast Asia or the Middle East.
The vehicle purchase was made by one of Sri Lanka's richest business leaders Mr. Dhammika Perera. With a net worth of over $500 million, the business tycoon has spent over Rs. 160 million on the vehicle inclusive of import duty. The catalogue price for the Mulsanne is Sterling Pounds 390,000 (around Rs. 84 million) and the duty on the dream machine is a staggering Rs. 76 million, according to Sri Lanka Custom sources.
Exquisite in the extreme, the Mulsanne Hallmark Series represents a glittering addition to the Mulsanne range – and a collector’s item in waiting.
