Eastern Florida State College ’ s two-year Computer Information Technology Degree program prepares students for careers in the business applications of computers .
Students choose one of three options :
• Database Administrator Specialization
• Geographic Information Systems ( GIS ) Specialization
• Help Desk Specialization
Plus explore the three shorter term college certificates related to this program , including :
• Oracle Certified Database Administrator
• Geographical Information Systems
• Help Desk Support Technician
Note : The Computer Information Technology A . S ., Computer Programming & Analysis A . S . and Network Systems Technology A . S . degrees share the same seven common core computer courses . These courses provide training in the basic concepts underlying computing technology , computer programming , database techniques , analysis and design and common user applications .
Not all Computer Information Technology courses are offered every semester .
