WHAT IS IT ?

EFSC is a Federal Aviation Administration ( FAA ) certified Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician School ( AMTS ), and is one of the most affordable A & P school routes to obtaining FAA certification . Students are trained to become an aviation maintenance technician and prepared to take the FAA exams leading to certification as an Airframe and Powerplant Technician .
In this full-time , 23-month , 2,250 clock-hour training program , students will learn aircraft maintenance theory , diagnostic procedures and FAA approved methods for inspecting , servicing , and repairing aircraft and their systems . Students will be taught how to use aviation industry standard tooling and equipment to perform work on actual aircraft .
