WHAT IS IT?

EFSC’ s Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration program, also known as HVAC / R, is a 1,350 clock hour program designed to train students in skills necessary to obtain employment in installation, service, and repair by mechanical and refrigeration contractors, dealers, and related commercial businesses.
Graduates of the program follow an HVAC course curriculum that prepares them for entry-level positions and are eligible to take the EPA certification exam. The program is available on the EFSC Cocoa campus and is structured as full-time.
Note: The HVAC / R program is a limted access program. A specialized application process is required.
