WHAT IS IT ?
Physical Therapist Assistants deliver treatments and interventions to patients under a plan of care established by a supervising Physical Therapist . They often work in settings such as outpatient clinics , hospitals , skilled nursing facilities , schools , and home healthcare .
The two-year Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Eastern Florida State College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education ( CAPTE )
Upon graduation , students will be eligible to sit for the licensure examination .
Note : This program is limited access and requires completion of a custom application process .
