WHAT IS IT?
Eastern Florida State College’ s Diagnostic Medical Sonography Associate in Science degree program, with its concentration on Abdomen-Extended and Obstetrics and Gynecology( OB / GYN) ultrasound, is designed to educate students to perform general ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures.
This full-time, two-year, limited access sonography training program prepares students through theory and clinical experiences to practice as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a variety of healthcare settings. The program’ s training follows a cohort style delivery, with 12-14 students accepted into the program at the start of each class.
Note: The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is a limited access program. A specialized application process is required.
