EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION A. S. DEGREE
WHAT IS IT?
If you love to work with children and are energetic, nurturing, creative, and good at multi-tasking, a career in the education field is worth exploring.
EFSC offers a two-year Associate in Science degree in Early Childhood Education that has the advantage of including four College Credit Certificates. The courses meet requirements for several well-known state certifications, such as the Florida Childcare Professional Credential( FCCPC) at the Staff and Director Levels.
If you’ re a high school student looking for more short-term training to earn foundation certificates needed for entering the workforce, our approach also gives students flexibility. EFSC students also can earn college credit for education courses completed at a Brevard County Public high school.
Additionally, EFSC graduates from this program can move on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree through a pathway partnership with Florida State College at Jacksonville.
College Credit Certificates:
• Early Childhood Development
• Child Care Center Management
• Infant / Toddler Specialization
• Preschool Specialization
