The structuring of an interview is essential to gaining good answers but also for the interviewer to assert themselves on the interview, making sure that they are able to keep the interview flowing. Questions throughout the interview will need to be placed in a certain order and must be structured appropriately; bringing out the personality of the interviewer and making sure it is professional. The structure allows for move questions to be developed and this can allow for more in-depth answers as well as a more respectable relationship through communication skills.

For example, interviews that are conducted throughout the news contain key questions that can be asked to pressure the interviewee on numerous issues and force out truthful answers from the interviewee. However, the interviewer can ask counter-questions in order to get the interviewee to develop on their answers and explain their answers thoroughly.
