Correction

In the July/August issue of CSWN: Interventions, we included a Special Report
on a radiation scatter survey (“Radiation
Safety in the Cath Lab,” p. 26). The last
sentence of the article incorrectly noted
that Michael S. Glaser (who conducted the
survey) made a statement about patient
safety improvement with the protective
arm board mentioned in the article (RAD
BOARD®; Radial Assist, LLC).
We wish to clarify that this statement
should have been atitributed to an outside
article (Fetterly KA, Mathew V, Lennon R,
et al. JACC Cardiovasc Interv. 2012;5:86673.). The RAD BOARD® is designed only to
provide added protection from radiation
scatter to operators and cath lab staff.
