Note that the only way to print (or save to file) the graph is by taking a
screenshot. The red label in the figure above with total tonnes of
greenhouse gases (ghg) was added later; neither the graph nor the ta-
ble contain the total value, although it is tallied up at each step. The re-
port does have options to “print” or “save to clipboard” which makes
transfer into EXCEL very easy. Another problem is that the “waste” cat-
egory simply doesn’t work: all inputs come up with the same result.
Regardless of its shortcomings, the AGC does, as Jennifer says, give
you a sense of how your daily activities are contributing to the global
problem of carbon emissions. And that’s the place to start.
