The second part of the work case study program involved the 22 consultants
and management visiting the students’ families in the squatter village where
they lived. The visitors met many of the schoolchildren, reviewed the
Livelihood program and even had a cooking demonstration making one of the
Philippines favourite meals, Adobo.
Richard Cook said, ‘It was great to spend time with the parents and children in
their own environment. We all learnt so much and will look for ways we can
help this community. Thank you Cararoo.’
It was a very successful visit; everyone had a great time.
