Concession required for thermal electricity projects with an installed capacity above 250 kW, or for any hydroelectric installation( no maximum installed capacity threshold identified). 8 This regime also covers the establishment and operation of all transport facilities, as well as the establishment and operation of distribution facilities whenever these require medium-voltage installations.
The texts do not explicitly cover other type of installations, but in practice they cover all types of installations including renewable energy facilities.
Authorisation is required to set up and operate low-voltage distribution installations. A licence is required for the establishment and operation of all transmission facilities and for the establishment and operation of medium-voltage distribution facilities.
