I am going to pick three companies right now from these strategies that have OTC tickers:

Village Farms International Inc.

(TSX:VFF; OTC:VFFIF)

Share Price when featured: US$1.55

Share Price (high) Sept 26:US$2.35

That is an ROI of 52% in about 3 weeks.

Shares Outstanding: 39,146,279

Market Cap when featured: US$61M

Last Quarterly Revenue: US$46M

Stated EPS: $0.11

With annualized revenues at almost 3x its market cap, our case study spoke for itself.

This company’s presence in the legal marijuana industry at this time is future oriented and its core operations represents its revenue.

VFFIF was part of our low market cap and revenue strategy. For detailed information please refer to our August/September Canadian edition.

PUF Ventures Inc.

(CSE:PUF; OTC:PUFXF)

Share Price when featured: US$0.30

Share Price (high) Sept 27:US$0.50

That is an ROI of 67% since May 25.

Shares Outstanding: 44,980,958

Market Cap when featured: US$13.5M

Part of our industry leading latter stage licensed producer applicant strategy.

PUFXF is a part of the Craft Grower group included in that facet of The Canopy Growth Corporation - the world’s largest legal producer of medical marijuana.

PUF’s license remains pending but the “finish line” is considered by many as very near.

On September 27th, PUF announced it was building a one million square foot cultivation and production facility in Australia. That same morning, trading of shares in PUF were halted and when the halt was lifted the share price, as expected, continued to increase.

An interesting one to keep an eye on as it provides a Canadian investment at a low cost that is near licensing with announced international expansion. However, always take caution because the facts are it does not have a license as yet; none of its product has been sold as yet through CGC’s CraftGrow channel; and its international expansion plans are just that – plans.

Welcome to this month’s case studies. All companies referenced throughout the magazine are not intended as investment advice but rather to bring an awareness of different companies that

may be invested in.
