The United States has been in many wars to help other countries out like World War I and World War II. Many like to think that America was responsible for the victories in both wars. This seeks to answer if his is really true.
America Saved the Day?

This was a First World War and killed 17 millions of people. The cause of it was the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. It was mainly with European countries until America got involved. Germany had declared war on France, invaded Belgium, which lead Britain to declare war with Germany. On April 6 ,1917, the United States declared war on Germany to stop them from taking over other countries and help Europe out. At this point of time, the United States were not yet strong allies with any country. In 1919, the Treaty of Versailles closed WWI. it was brutal toward Germany because they caused the war, so they have to take responsibility pay for all the cost. America did help end the war but could have joined earlier.
