3.Indoctrinating children

In Afghanistan there is a school ran by fighters who pledged to allegiance to ISIS. Those schools aren't like the ordinary schools. They don't learn numbers and letters; instead, they learn how to be apart of the Islamic State. That starts as young as the age of 3. They also tell the children that it is okay to do harm and to explode things. The children get shown a variety of weapons, and then are asked if they know what they are and what they do. The fighters also show the children videos of attacks that have been done, all using Internet sources.

4. websites promoting recruitment

According to the federal government, white paper made by the department of homeland security in 2009 said 12 terrorist websites were active in 1998. As the internet gets more popular, the number of terrorists websites raised to about 7,000, active websites today. Terrorists also build websites to communicate with each other and to basically warn other people on what they can do. They also use websites to recruit new terrorists with ads and links for their websites. In 2012 a UN (United Nations) reports says terrorists put out content by using a range of social media tools. They use certain websites, chat rooms, and online message boards, forums, magazines. Rapid Share, Face book, Twitter, and YouTube are the most popular. Research has been done to show how popular search engines such as Bing and Google make it easy find the links for recruitment.
