PREPARATION FOR
C OMPETITOR SU CC ESS
By Natasha Davis
It’s that time of year when
some competitors are heading
back to school or full time work
after a nice summer break. We
want to make sure that we are
keeping on top of our goals,
even when our days become
busier. Preparation and routine
will be your best friend!
Schedule and carve out your
days ahead of time. This means
planning out your meal times
around class/work schedules,
setting a time to fit your
training in, and reserving time
for personal life and
relationships.

The best way to ensure success
is being prepared for what’s to
come. Have everyday already
planned out before it begins so
that you’re instantly set up for
success. Prep a couple days’
worth of food in advance.
It’ll be as simple as “grab and
go” on those busy days. On
days when you’re not sure how
late you will be out, pack all of
your day’s food with you! You
won’t be caught skipping a
meal or having to find a
restaurant replacement option
– this will only set your
progress back.
It'll be as
simple as
"grab-and-
go” on
those busy
days.
