Family and friends are an important part of our support system. Our first daughter was born there. It started to get lonely for my wife with only the 3 of us there so we decided to move to Canada. My wife moved back first with my daughter and started sponsorship paperwork for me to join them. I got approved in 2016 and moved to Canada to be with my wife and daughter. I have been working hard to make a life for myself and my family here in Canada. We had our son in July 2017. It’s been tough for me since I moved to Canada because of a new language and having to work 7 days a week. I try to focus on my bodybuilding as well. The main reason behind my interest in bodybuilding would be because of my father. Growing up I had always seen my father loving bodybuilding so much, but because of less opportunities back home, he couldn’t fulfill his dream. So my goal was to be somewhere in this career of bodybuilding to make him proud up there in heaven. I’m sure he’s watching me now and has a smile on his face. I have been in 3 CPA shows now. I love the amazing shows that they are hosting. Always great service and so organized with athletes, family and friends who are there to support. Providing all the needs for us. tanning, makeup and photos. All there for those who need it. All of this is so important for the final step. So glad it’s always a step away for us. Thank you to all CPA shows who make sure everything is provided.” We all come to the stage and the fitness community for different reasons and have all take different paths. The common denominator for all of us, however, is the sense of community and family that keeps us going.
