Now, it's time to pay it forward! Bolt earned the title of being the first Canadian female wheelchair bodybuilder. She says she is grateful to be the first but didn’t compete for herself.  “My reasoning for showing up to the competition was strictly to influence others. For those others who haven’t done it, said they couldn’t do it, and those who built themselves a box of hurdles. I don’t need to be number one. When you’re number one it’s great, but what can I do with that? Pay it forward.”  t e g s ' t Le ' n i l l ro Bolt is the founder of the Recreation Adaptive Society (RAD) which exists to help individuals facing short-term or long-term mobility issues to live an active and independent lifestyle. RAD helps individuals pursue their dreams without facing financial burden. To learn more about this or to donate visit, www.radsociety.ca.
