What made you choose to compete with the CPA? I chose to
compete with the CPA because given my goal I discovered it is
the surest and best route to take to get to the bigger stages like the
Olympia, because of its strong affiliation with the IFBB Profes-
sional League. Also I love that it has no provincial restrictions for
regionals. Meaning as a resident of Edmonton I could register and
compete in a show in Winnipeg or whatever province I choose.
If you had any advice for anyone thinking of competing what
would it be? Everyone’s journey is different so don’t compare your
journey or your progress to another person’s or what you see on
social media. YOU are your biggest competition and so long as you
keep improving and getting better than your last each time, you’ll
reach your goal. Also find a good personal trainer/coach who can
build you not only physically but mentally because it’s a mental
game.
