SC Media Pushes Forward,
Adds Key New Audio Brands
to Portfolio
Montreal-based distributor SC Media Canada,
which has been serving audio, multimedia, and
video dealers and end-users for over 35 years, has
announced a pair of new distribution agreements
to boost its pro audio footprint.
The first is LEA Professional, which has an-
nounced that SC Media will support the release of
its IoT/cloud-enabled amplifier across Canada. The
other new addition to the company’s catalog is
Sonance’s Professional Series speakers.
Launched in 2017, the Sonance Professional
Series includes a wide range of in-ceiling, pendant,
and surface-mount speakers, in addition to com-
plementary subwoofers, which the company says
can be found in well-known corporate headquar-
ters, retail chains, and restaurant franchises around
the world.
“Our new pro audio brands, Sonance and LEA
Professional, both offer best-in-class performance
and terrific value,” says Patricia Carr, national sales
manager for SC Media’s audio products. “They’ll do
exceptionally well in the Canadian market, and we
have more great products on the way.”
“I am excited about this because our core
beliefs align. [Sonance’s motto of ] ‘our team is
your team’ falls in with SC Media’s ‘do your best, be
honest, and treat your customers and staff with re-
spect.’ This makes so much sense,” says Jay Lazzaro,
Sonance’s director of international sales.
“I’m really proud of the success we’ve had
over the years,” comments Jean Daoust, SC Media’s
president, who also founded the company in
1983. “But even more proud of how SC Media has
become such a trusted partner for so many deal-
ers and production companies across the country.
We’ve worked hard to provide great service and
great technical support for our customers.”
