Center
The majority of The NAMM Show’s
expanded education program
will be found in the new NAMM
U Education Center, which is a
five-story campus in the Anaheim
Hilton next door to the conven-
tion centre. The NAMM U Idea
Center will remain in the main lob-
by of the convention centre. The
new NAMM U Education Center
will host the A3E Summit, AES@
NAMM, TEC Tracks, NAMM U Break-
fast Sessions, and Audinate’s Dante
Certification training in addition to
sessions on lighting, networking,
safety, and rigging.
A3E Summit
The Advanced Audio + Applica-
tions Exchange (A3E) will explore
how advanced audio applications
are transforming the music indus-
try, production, and performance.
A keynote session, “Driving the
Future of Music Production, with
BT,” will explore technologies that
release the full creative potential of
an artist and what happens when
the barriers are removed to inno-
vation. Other sessions include “The
Impact of Blockchain on the Music
Industry,” “Developing Disruptive
Technology: The Risk and Reward,”
“The Art of Artificial Intelligence:
The Science of Creative Tools,”
and more.

Pro Sound

An advanced education and train-
ing program for professionals in
live sound, recording, and perfor-
mance audio, the AES@NAMM Pro
Sound Symposium: Live & Studio
returns for its second year. The
four-day symposium offers seven

tutorials on system measurement
and optimization, plus intimate

Education
Sessions curated by the Entertain-
ment Services and Technology
Association (ESTA) offer profession-
als a range of education and credit
opportunities. ESTA will host four
tracks in Lighting and Electrical,
Lighting Networking, Rigging, and
Safety, all offering the opportunity
for free Entertainment Technician
Certification Program (ETCP)
renewal credits.
TEC Tracks
TEC Tracks offers more than 60
free sessions featuring industry
legends and thought leaders
presenting innovative ideas in
recording, live sound, and the
music business. Highlights include
“The Future of Music” with Craig
Anderton; Mr. Bonzai interviewing
Danny Kortchmar for his inside
perspective on classic records and
the highs and lows of the music
business; “Pioneers of Analog
Synths,” a special panel presenta-
tion by Michelle Moog-Koussa;
and “Prince: The Making of a Leg-
end,” with Prince’s arranger Brent
Fischer. Additional presenters

the pro audio community by
recognizing the individuals, compa-

presentation and NAMM TEC Hall of
Fame induction ceremony.
