NAMM U Education Center The majority of The NAMM Show’s expanded education program will be found in the new NAMM U Education Center, which is a five-story campus in the Anaheim Hilton next door to the conven- tion centre. The NAMM U Idea Center will remain in the main lob- by of the convention centre. The new NAMM U Education Center will host the A3E Summit, AES@ NAMM, TEC Tracks, NAMM U Break- fast Sessions, and Audinate’s Dante Certification training in addition to sessions on lighting, networking, safety, and rigging. A3E Summit The Advanced Audio + Applica- tions Exchange (A3E) will explore how advanced audio applications are transforming the music indus- try, production, and performance. A keynote session, “Driving the Future of Music Production, with BT,” will explore technologies that release the full creative potential of an artist and what happens when the barriers are removed to inno- vation. Other sessions include “The Impact of Blockchain on the Music Industry,” “Developing Disruptive Technology: The Risk and Reward,” “The Art of Artificial Intelligence: The Science of Creative Tools,” and more. AES@NAMM Pro Sound Symposium: Live & Studio An advanced education and train- ing program for professionals in live sound, recording, and perfor- mance audio, the AES@NAMM Pro Sound Symposium: Live & Studio returns for its second year. The four-day symposium offers seven NAMM U SCHEDULE Training Academies and related sessions on line array technolo- gies, microphones for studio and stage, live sound mixing consoles, wireless systems, and studio environments, in addition to tutorials on system measurement and optimization, plus intimate sessions with leading industry pros hosted by veteran FOH engineer Robert Scovill and studio guru Bobby Owsinski. ESTA-Curated Education Sessions curated by the Entertain- ment Services and Technology Association (ESTA) offer profession- als a range of education and credit opportunities. ESTA will host four tracks in Lighting and Electrical, Lighting Networking, Rigging, and Safety, all offering the opportunity for free Entertainment Technician Certification Program (ETCP) renewal credits.
