Mother Mother, Honeymoon Suite & More
to Play CosmoFEST 2017
Cosmo Music in Richmond Hill, ON has announced that popular
Canadian alt-rock band Mother Mother, ‘80s hit makers Honeymoon
Suite, country starlet Meghan Patrick, indie rockers The Beaches,
singer-songwriter Jacob Moon, and more will be taking the Cos-
moFEST 2017 main stage for free concerts on June 3 rd . CosmoFEST is
the store’s annual gear exhibition and celebration of live music.
These artists will join guitarists Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper) and
Nili Brosh (The Iron Maidens, Tony MacAlpine), drummers Chris
Coleman (Prince, Chaka Khan) and Dennis Chambers (Santana,
Parliament/Funkadelic), and bassist Alain Caron (UZEB), who will
present clinics and host meet and greets during the event.
CosmoFEST will also feature an expo tent, which last year
hosted over 200 product experts representing more than 120 brands.
A full schedule of events and times will be available in the coming
weeks, including main stage times, artist meet and greets, grand
prizes and giveaways, sale details, Kidz Zone programming, food
truck and beer garden details, and attractions.

reappointment of Harry Boyce as its west-
ern regional sales manager for the four
western provinces, as well as the appoint-
ment of Marc Bureau as eastern regional
sales manager. Bureau’s territory encom-
passes Quebec and the Maritimes, as well

North America
Musical Distributors Group (MDG) has been named the exclusive North
American distributor for Gravity Stands, the new Adam Hall Group
brand for stands that comprises products for various stage and studio

in 2015.

Registration Opens for Summer NAMM 2017
Summer NAMM will once again return to the Music City Center in
Nashville, TN from July 13-15, 2017. Badge registration is now open
for active NAMM members to get their free badges.
Timed to coincide with MI dealers’ back-to-school and holiday
buying decisions, Summer NAMM brings together MI and pro audio
dealers, manufacturers, buyers, distributors, and more in a more
intimate and leisurely atmosphere than that found at the NAMM
Show in Anaheim each January. It also hosts the Top 100 Dealer
Awards.
Representatives from organizations that do not qualify for
membership may apply for a badge to attend 2017 Summer NAMM.
Applications are available for pro audio professionals and buyers
representing non-member companies, venues, and houses of wor-
ship, as well as music educators and music majors.
