Throughout the house we used extensive custom millwork to create a simplified
traditional feel. We took advantage of an entire wall in the dining room to create
built-ins to house the client’s collection of fine dinner wares. The main focal
point of the dining room however is the coffered ceiling design. We created a
medallion in the centre to showcase a stunning scalloped shaped chandelier. The
room is flanked by eclipse doors with a custom leaded design embedded in the
glass. Finishing the room off with subtle silk wallpaper and a rich custom table
by Kravet we were able to create a timeless and sophisticated space.
