Yes … we initiated what is now the Cannabis Beverage Producers Alliance …. 50 companies that have together to try to work as a single voice to try to get regulators and governments to try to make strategic decisions around policy and infrastructure framework … things like formulation, marketing, security …. All the things that build social responsibility, stability …. We cannot succeed if the consumer is not satisfied.

OK … how do you compete with the Black Market …. Delivered on demand … beautiful packaging …

Right now … the regulatory framework in many aspects has been lifted from the Tobacco Act. Cannabis is a completely different product with completely different benefits and impacts. We believe that the corollary regulations come from the alcohol industry. Black Market is really a commodity whereas the legal market provides value added in the form of brands. Low end, no name, or high-end quality products, or even super premium products such as what we will be making with OneLeaf’s. We are accountable for the products we make. We are liable post-consumption for the product. The black market is not. The brands we are producing need to stand for something and the most important aspect is that consumers can trust us to provide quality and certainty.
