b. Successfully complete all six M-200 level courses( with the last course completed within the past five years). c. Successfully passed the CMCA examination. d. Meet the Application Point Requirements – 125 Points
( 1) Maximum 20 Points for Designations * Your Florida CAM is worth 10 and your CMCA is worth 10.
( 2) Maximum 30 points for Education * Your M200 + classes each count for 10, as well as 10 + points for any formal degrees( i. e. Associates, Bachelors, etc.)
( 3) Minimum 55 points for CAI & industry-related education programs * Ranging points for attendance, volunteerism, writing articles, speaking, etc.- Review the application for options and follow the 5-year plan provided in this guide for ideas.( a) Submit your online application and fee.( b) Wait for approval from CAI( national headquarters)( c) Choose your Case Study location * You will have one year to complete your Case Study(* Failure to complete the Case Study in the time allotted will result in a need to re-apply with payment; no extensions are granted)
( d) Take the two-day case study on the subject property( in-person or online, per your choice of Case Study location), where, upon completion, you will receive the Case Study Questions. The clock begins NOW!( e) Submit your completed Case Study within 30 days.
* This is a Pass / Fail examination. vi. Maintain: a. Pay the annual Maintenance Fee b. Recertify every three years. * Complete one M300 or higher course or attend the annual conference. You can also use continuing education hours and graduate level courses from higher learning facilities for this requirement.
