Interaction with industry will help ensure our graduates are gaining the right skills to be work-ready for the jobs of the future. The recently released Productivity Commission report Shifting the Dial identified the need for higher education to increase skills relevance and job matching. We need to do more than that as our graduates need the skills to be career ready rather than merely job ready.
